Diablo 4: Eriman’s Pyre Location Hawezar Region
Eriman’s Pyre Stronghold is situated in the northern part of the Hawezar region, positioned between the Dismal Foothills on the west and The Writing Mire on the east. To reach the Stronghold from the Wejinhani Warpoint, head in a northeast direction.
Upon arriving at Eriman’s Pyre Stronghold, you will encounter a village engulfed in flames. Within the village, there is a tormented individual who is enduring an eternal burning torment. Speaking to the Spirit of the Pyre at the center of the Stronghold will begin the progression of clearing it.
Diablo 4: How To Clear Eriman’s Pyre Stronghold
To beat the Eriman’s Pyre Stronghold in Diablo 4, you must interact with the Spirit of the Pyre located at the core of the Stronghold. This action will summon a formidable enemy that must be defeated. Upon vanquishing this creature, it will drop Villagers’ Remains, which can extinguish one of the Fiery Focuses.
By extinguishing the first Fiery Focus, a previously inaccessible area within the Stronghold will become accessible. This progression requires repeating the process multiple times: entering a new area, defeating adversaries to obtain Villagers’ Remains, and extinguishing a Fiery Focus.
Once all the Fiery Focuses have been extinguished, a battle against Duz’Agur, known as Eriman’s Bane, awaits you. But don’t worry. We’ve explained exactly how to beat this formidable foe in the next section.
Diablo 4: How To Beat Duz’Agur, Erimane’s Bane
Duz’Agur, Erimane’s Bane in Diablo 4 is a Fallen Shaman and does not pose too much of a threat if you know how to handle him. Among his notable attacks is a linear targeted spell that leaves a trail of blood on the ground, persisting for a short duration. This spell is telegraphed and is easy to evade, but letting it touch you can rapidly deplete your health.
Another moderately dangerous spell involves Duz’Agur absorbing multiple fireballs, resulting in an AoE (Area of Effect) burst of fiery energy that emanates in a wide radius around him. He subsequently releases the fireballs randomly throughout the arena, with this spell inflicting the most damage at close range. So, if you see fire, keep your distance.
Periodically, he will raise his hands and gradually release fireballs from the pyre in the arena’s center. During this attack, however, he becomes vulnerable and makes it easy to get in a few free attacks, allowing you to diminish his health swiftly in Diablo 4.
Upon defeating the boss, the spirit of Eriman, now freed, will emerge to deliver a monolog to the remaining villagers before they find their eternal rest. To complete the liberation of the Stronghold, proceed to the northwest section of the village, where you will discover the Wanderer’s Shrine. Interacting with it will mark your triumph over Eriman’s Pyre.
Diablo 4: Eriman’s Pyre Stronghold Rewards
Now that you’ve cleared the Eriman’s Pyre Stronghold in Diablo 4, you’ll be given some rewards for your efforts. The first is the default reward given for any stronghold cleared in the game, 100 Renown for that region, in this case, Hawezar.
Secondly, conquering this Stronghold will also unlock the Level 38 dungeon called Oblivion, situated in the northwest section of the village. And, of course, you’ll gain a large sum of gold and experience as you clear the Stronghold.
It’s guaranteed that as you progress through the Stronghold, you’ll find some rare drops, such as Legendaries (but less so than rare drops). It is also important to note that Strongholds drop items with power around two levels greater than your character.
And there you have it — a comprehensive look at the Eriman’s Pyre Stronghold in the Hawezar region of Diablo 4. Be sure to clear this Stronghold as soon as possible for its Renown, gold, experience, and items, allowing you to progress further into Sanctuary.
