In Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred Season 2 (Season of Witchcraft), the Tree of Whispers grew, and as this strange being expanded in Sanctuary, we even got a new short story. However, you are probably just here for the shiny rewards you can get via Gifts of the Tree.
Are you ready for some huge gains, Wanderers? Well, then, you should take full advantage of the latest Mother’s Blessing period, where you can earn dozens of rewards, including Gifts of the Tree, so let’s jump in.
New Mother’s Blessing Dates in Diablo 4
To get the blood flowing, let’s hear what Lilith, the Blessed Mother of Sanctuary, has to say:
Under old boughs hangs the heart-fruit, swollen with hatred. Let it burst forth and flood the streams and burrows.
So yes, the Mother’s Blessing has returned and will run from 18 to 25 February 2025 for an entire week, where players can take advantage of the 35% experience and 50% Gold at a (multiplicative) increased rate.
The Mother’s Blessing spans across the Seasonal and Eternal Realms, for those with and without the expansion, and across all World Tiers. The bonuses stack as well, so you can pair them with the Urn of Aggression and Elixirs for maximum XP increases…but this time, there’s more.
How To Get Gift of the Tree Rewards
With the Tree of Whispers growing, there are new rewards for players to earn during Mother’s Blessing. As long as the Mother’s Blessing buff is active (18 to 25 February), you can also earn Gift of the Tree caches with additional rewards.
You get a Gift of the Tree every time you return Grim Favors to the Tree of Whispers, so yes, it is very much farmable. There’s no telling what will be inside a Gift of the Tree since it is labeled as a “Collection of Chaos” cache, meaning you can get Legendary/Unique items, Runes, crafting materials, and much more, sometimes combined, sometimes as a burst of one or two rewards types, and of course, a lot of gold.

The developers clearly focus on the Tree of Whispers, which has some very interesting twists and turns. I’m going to keep a close eye on the developments since I feel there’s much more to come for this gameplay mechanic, which is overflowing with lore.
