Diablo 4: How To Complete Lost Legacy Side Quest Guide

Many players struggle to figure out how to complete the Lost Legacy side quest in Diablo 4. If that's you, don't worry. This guide will provide you with the answers you need to conquer it with ease. At this point, you're surely becoming a force to be reckoned with, with your prowess and Renown (literally) growing by the day.

That said, if you could navigate the Bad Blood or Poisoned Hearts quests, then you should be ready to complete the Lost Legacy side quest in Diablo 4. So suit up and prepare to set forth on yet another journey through the sinister paths of Hawezar to further cement your status as an indomitable force in Sanctuary.

How To Complete Lost Legacy Side Quest In Diablo 4

To start this new journey, you must first travel to the Ruins of Rakhat Keep. Once there, seek out and speak to Ksenia, the Zakarum Crusader. After your initial meeting, she will wander off. Follow her and talk to her again inside the fort.

When prompted, select the "Let us purge this place of Mephisto's presence." dialog option. After doing this, you will have to enter the Defiled Halls Dungeon and get to work. Once inside, inspect the Paladin's remains for answers.

Interact with Mathias' remains, but be warned that you will face Mathias in combat afterward. Upon his death, he will drop Mathias' Betrayal. Also, the door behind him will be unsealed, so interact with Ksesnia again before proceeding. At this point, you are close to completing the Lost Legacy side quest in Diablo 4.

You will now be tasked with collecting Eleazar's Choice as well as Alodia's Wrath. Along the way to Alodia's remains, there will be some minor enemies, but they don't pose much threat. Once you find his remains, interact with them. After that, you must fight Alodia.

Although Alodia will be slightly stronger than Mathias, he will fall all the same, dropping Alodia's Wrath upon his death. Collect this item. Now, it's time for the final piece: Eleazar's Choice. Inspect the corpse when found; you will see a handwritten note nearby. Read it, and you will discover that Eleazar killed himself before transforming.

You will still have to battle once more, though, and once you defeat Carthas, he will drop Eleazar's Choice. You may have thought you did everything to complete the Lost Legacy side quest in Diablo 4, but you would be wrong. Now you will have to find the root of the curse.

Once you find Carthas Demise, place all three cursed blades in the circle next to Carthas' remains. Speak to Ksenia and tell her you are ready for the ritual to begin. Once she starts the ritual, you will have to defend her as multiple enemies will come in hopes of stopping it.

Carthas will be back for more action as you will be tasked with defeating the corrupted Paladin. Once he has been put to rest along with his allies, speak to Ksenia again to complete the Lost Legacy side quest in Diablo 4.
