Blizzard is gearing up to reveal the contents of Diablo 4 Season 1.
The studio will show off the content this Thursday, 6th of July, with a live stream at 11 am PT, 2 pm ET, and 7 PM GMT.
The stream will also show off new content for Diablo Immortal, before diving into exactly what we can expect from season 1 of Diablo 4. According to developers at Blizzard, the first season will launch at some point this month and will add new features, questlines, items, and balance changes.
The new seasons will also have a new Battle Pass that has 27 free tiers and 63 paid tiers, meaning that overall four new battle passes every year. According to Blizzard, all of the paid tiers will be for cosmetic items rather than for anything that can greatly change your in-game experience, in order to avoid a potential pay-to-win scenario.
An official press release from Activision-Blizzard states the following in regards to the Diablo 4 Season 1 update:
“Following the Diablo Immortal news, associate game director Joseph Piepiora and lead game producer TImothy Ismay will be announcing the first Season of Diablo IV, along with incoming quality-of-life updates.”
