Diablo 4 Season of the Blood was expected to release today, but it seems as though Blizzard devs have run into a few complications.
Writing on the Blizzard forums, the developer explained that it had “encountered some technical issues” with the current build.
Blizzard doesn’t specify what the studio has discovered, but until it resolves the game’s referenced build issues, the dev will be delaying Season of Blood’s start time by a few hours. While the dev has delayed the Diablo 4 Season 2 release date, we don’t know the precise new start time for Season 2.
The full announcement can be read below:
"We have encountered some technical issues with our current build and will be delaying Season of Blood’s start time by a few hours to remedy these issues. Once we have more information, we’ll update you right away. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate the feedback you have provided and your patience."
