With Diablo 4’s launch, fans of the iconic ARPG franchise will venture into Sanctuary once again and experience the entire world of Sanctuary, slaying the followers of Lilith. This means that you might also want to reset your Diablo 4 Skill Tree and all Ranks, to test out more builds.
This article explains how you can respec your character in Diablo 4, the gold cost involved, and if there are options to reset individual skills or nodes.

In Diablo 4 Season 1, you can get a Scroll of Amnesia by completing the Season Journey, to reset your skills and Paragon tree for free.
How To Respec in Diablo 4: Resetting Ranks And Skills Cost
As you can see from the image above, there are various options to reset skills and Ranks. At the bottom of the Diablo 4 Skill Tree, you can click “Refund All” to reset all your skill points and ranks.
Further, you can reset individual Skills and Ranks to spend again in case you make a build mistake. However, there is a Gold cost attached.
The Gold cost for resetting Ranks of the skill tree rapidly increases the higher level you are and the more you want to reset.
From the Diablo 4 Open Beta information gathered thus far, we can tell you that it is free until Level 7. From here, it starts at only 1 Gold at Level 7, but by the time you reach Level 25, the cost is already 222 Gold to reset a Rank or Skill.
It is important to note that you can get the point refund in any section of the Diablo 4 Skill Tree. However, the only caveat is that the point you are resetting should not break any dependencies. This means that if you want to reset a Skill that has unlocked another one at the end of a branch, you will have to reset the whole branch.
At the time of writing, it is unclear how much it would cost to reset all your Skill Points once you hit Diablo 4’s max level.

By the looks of the current Diablo 4 Skill Tree, Blizzard wants to give players the option to experiment during the early stages of the game and the option (although it could be expensive) to completely reset their Skill Tree, even at max level.
The takeaway here is that in Diablo 4, the higher level you are, the more expensive resetting all your Skills and Ranks will be.
