Many Diablo 4 players wonder if they can kill the story bosses again after completing the campaign.
How To Kill Diablo 4 Story Bosses Again in Season 1

After finishing the massive Diablo 4 story campaign and fighting through all six Acts, you unlock the Skip Campaign option for alts. However, some players wonder if they can kill the story bosses in Diablo 4 again.

This article explores the ways you can once again take on the Diablo 4 story bosses and the limitations Blizzard has put in place, so let's get started.

Update on 17 July 2023: We've updated this article with the latest details so you can easily kill Diablo 4's story bosses again, with some caveats.
Please note: This article contains some spoilers for story boss names in Diablo 4. You've been warned!

Is Killing Diablo 4's Story Bosses Again Possible?

Yes, it is possible to kill Diablo 4's story bosses again. There are two ways to do this. First off, you will need to create a new character and do the story quests again, WITHOUT using the "skip campaign" option at character creation. That's definitely not ideal.

The second way is to join a friend's game who has not killed a specific story boss you want to face again and help them defeat it. The caveat here is that the world is scaled to your friend's character level.

Killing Diablo 4 Story Bosses With Alt Characters

Currently, there is no way to kill Diablo 4's story bosses again if you've chosen the "Skip Campaign" feature to create an alt. Skipping the campaign is, of course, the fastest way to level an alt. As you start with access to Grim Favors for the Tree of Whispers, can don't have to go through lengthy story quests.

Some players want the option to kill the story bosses again, with the best suggestion so far being "Uber Portals," where players can fight the likes of Astaroth, Duriel, Andariel, and more once again.

At the time of writing, however, there is no way to kill story bosses on your alts when skipping the campaign. Hopefully, Blizzard will implement this feature sometime in the future, for example, with the release of a new Diablo 4 season.

While you wait for Blizzard to implement a feature such as Uber Portals, why not check out our video below, where we discuss the world of Sanctuary and what you can expect from all the regions of Diablo 4?

That's everything you need to know about killing story bosses in Diablo 4 again once you've completed the campaign. If anything changes, or if Blizzard decides to add a feature allowing easier methods, we will endeavor to update this article accordingly.
