It’s all about hunting for and then improving shiny items in Diablo 4 Season 4, aptly entitled Loot Reborn. As such, it comes as no surprise that there are even better rewards to acquire via the Seasons Journey chapters, including a set of build-specific Legendary items for each of the five classes.
Join us, Nephalem, as we explain the specific class builds the Legendary items from the Seasons Journey will help you master, alongside the Caches where you can find these glorious pieces of equipment in Diablo 4 Season 4.
Diablo 4 Season 4 Class Legendary Sets Explained
First and foremost, before we get to the specifics of the focused build of each class, it is VERY important to note that this isn’t Diablo 4 Set Items with a green color scheme and all that. We don’t know when actual Set items will be released for Diablo 4, but we suspect it will be for the game’s first expansion, Vessel of Hatred.
With that disclaimer out of the way, there are build-specific Legendary items in neat little sets via Seasons Journey rewards, reminiscent of Season Caches in Diablo 3. In the table below, you’ll find the class builds the Seasons Journey rewards tailer to Diablo 4 Season 4.
| Diablo 4 Class | Specific Class Build Items |
| Barbarian | Dust Devil |
| Sorcerer | Incinerate |
| Druid | Pulverize |
| Rogue | Barrage |
| Necromancer | Minion Army |
Necromancers should be very happy, as the Minion-focused builds in Diablo 4 Season 4 are top-tier quality, allowing you to push deeper into The Pit of Artificers. Some classes, such as the Sorcerer, might be drawing the short straw here, as early builds for Season 4 indicate Incinerate isn’t nearly as good as Frozen Orb.
The Equipment Caches, where you’ll find the Legendaries tailored towards a specific class build, are earned as you complete a chapter of the Seasons Journey. Check out the Cache names below so you don’t accidentally miss out.
- First Journey Equipment Cache
- Second Journey Equipment Cache
- Third Journey Equipment Cache
- Fourth Journey Equipment Cache
- Slayer’s Equipment Cache (also includes one Ancestral Unique)
- Champion’s Equipment Cache (also includes one Ancestral Unique)
- Destroyer’s Equipment Cache (also includes two Ancestral Uniques)
In case you’ve been trapped in a Helltide farming loop and missed it completely, check out the Diablo 4 developer livestream, where Blizzard discusses all of Season 4’s features, changes, and additions, including the tailored class build sets of Legendary items via the Seasons Journey.
Remember, you don’t HAVE to use the specific class build that the Seasons Journey item rewards in Diablo 4 Season 4 provide you with at all. If there’s a build you enjoy more, go for it, since in the endgame, you’ll likely change builds anyway, except if you’re a Necromancer…
